On the way back from the cabin we thought we would stop really quick to see Mesa Verde. It wasn't a quick stop. It took about 3 hours to just see one of the sights, but it was really cool. Next time we will probably spend an entire day there.

That looks fun! How was the weather? Would this be better in the spring? I'm just thinking the fam should go there some time--the little boys hiking and playing in the dirt. The big boys, too. And the girls.
It was fun, but hot. I think spring would be really nice there. A few of the ruins that we really wanted to see are tours that require ladder climbs that might be hard for the little kids, but there is a lot you can see without that.
